you take control Hi,
Whatever we feed the most will grow. Being your mind is always busy thinking of something, it's important that you decide what you want to think on. You can only think about one thing at a time. I find that if I put on praise music and start singing along; I'm not thinking about anything else at the time but what I'm singing. Try it; it works. Think on positive things that you are grateful for that we take for granted. I thank God for Him, my family, health, friends, house, water, food, car, etc. Then I pray for people and their needs. I control my mind and replace the disturbing thoughts with more desirable ones. I also recite scripture like; "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" and "God works all things for the good to those who love Him and who are called according to His purposes." Romans 8:28 Faith in God conquers fear They can not dwell in the mind at the same time. These two forces compete with each other. Let Faith win Trust God for He is trustworthy! This obsessiveness is not a life sentence; the less anxious we are the less power it has. Go after good things in life and have fun! Shalom, (Peace) C.R. Created by C.R. |
